No household waste in public waste garbage cans

It is not permitted to dispose of household waste in public waste garbage cans. This also applies to waste generated in commercial enterprises. Household waste includes all waste generated in private households or similar establishments. In addition to general residual waste, this also includes organic waste, waste paper, waste glass, bulky waste, electronic waste and hazardous waste. If household waste is disposed of in a public waste garbage can, this can be punished as an administrative offense. On the one hand, improper disposal of household waste leads to waste garbage cans being overfilled and can no longer be used for their intended purpose. On the other hand, illegal waste disposal results in higher cleaning costs, which ultimately have to be borne by the general public.
