Parish office
Vaduz became its own parish in 1873 - at the same time as the consecration of St. Florin's Church. The church was built according to the plans of Friedrich von Schmidt. The church patron St. Florin lived in the 7th century and came from Matsch in Vintschgau.
Pope John Paul II re-established the archbishopric of Vaduz with the apostolic constitution "Ad satius consulendum" of December 2, 1997. The parish church of St. Florin thus became a cathedral.
