Repair work on water pipes

A new system for detecting leaks in the water supply network has been in operation at the Vaduz waterworks since the beginning of June 2025. A total of 110 leak loggers have been installed in the supply network and have been in operation for two weeks. In this short time, it has already been possible to locate leaks that would have been difficult or impossible to find with the previous technology. The waterworks team therefore assumes that more leaks will be detected and repaired in the coming weeks.

Possible effects

In the course of this work, there may be minor traffic disruptions and temporary interruptions to the water supply to individual properties. Affected residents will be informed in good time about planned water shut-offs.

The waterworks team will endeavour to implement all measures swiftly and efficiently in order to keep disruption to the population and traffic to a minimum.
