"Das Gelbe Band" in Vaduz
The aim of the "Gelbes Band" campaign is to ensure that more fruit from trees and bushes in Liechtenstein is recycled. A yellow ribbon signals this: Fruit may be harvested here free of charge and without consultation. Interested parties can now collect the yellow ribbon free of charge from the town hall reception.
A lot of food goes to waste - fruit and vegetables make up a large proportion of this. The "Gelbe Band" campaign aims to ensure that more fruit trees and shrubs in Vaduz are actively used. Private individuals can harvest seasonal fruit free of charge and use it for their own consumption as soon as a Yellow Ribbon is attached. This saves valuable food.
How it works
The concept is uncomplicated and requires little effort: Anyone who owns fruit trees or berry bushes, but does not harvest the fruit, attaches a yellow ribbon as a marker. This is a signal: You can pick and collect fruit here without consultation and for your own use. The yellow ribbon can be collected free of charge from the town hall reception in Vaduz.
