A portrait of a former mayor has been added to the gallery of ancestors in Vaduz Town Hall. Yesterday, Mayor Florian Meier and former mayor Manfred Bischof unveiled the painting by artist Giuliano Scherini at a small ceremony.

Since the Riethof farm's existing stable building was built 25 years ago, the rules and regulations for animal husbandry have changed, among other things. In the mayoral by-election on August 25, 2024, Florian Meier (FBP) was elected the new mayor of Vaduz with 1,397 votes. The voter turnout was 52.15 percent. The election was necessary because Petra Miescher announced her resignation in May 2024.
