Over the next two weeks, a helicopter will be deployed for half a day due to a major felling operation. A pedestrian bridge crosses the Giessen in Haberfeld near the kindergarten. To improve pedestrian safety, the existing bridge is to be demolished and a new one built further south. Construction is scheduled to start at the beginning of 2025.

During construction work in the Landgasthof Mühle area, a turbine was found in the ground. This discovery was reported to the Office for Culture, which inspected and secured the site. It turned out that the turbine came from the former Jenny & Spoerry spinning mill hydroelectric power plant and must be preserved at the site. An archaeological display case will be erected for this purpose and will be open to the public in future.
