In April 2021, the Vaduz municipal council decided to extend the Rhine embankment from Lochgass to Lettstrasse for motorized private transport and to relocate the main cycle route to the inland canal. The electorate confirmed this decision in a referendum on October 3, 2021. In March 2025, the municipality of Vaduz received an order from the Office for the Environment (AU) rejecting this construction project.

The color orange is a thing of the past.
