Since last year, the municipality of Vaduz has been testing Arboloom cups made of wood veneer. This innovative cup solution is an eco-friendly alternative to conventional paper and plastic cups and offers a compostable option with a minimal environmental footprint. Based on the positive results, the pilot phase is now being expanded.

Voters in Vaduz approved the CHF 55 million commitment credit for the construction of the new market square, including a mobility hub and underground parking garage, with more than 90 percent voting in favor. This clears the way for an important milestone in the development of downtown Vaduz.
